Contributions
Once you've connected your Apple Watch to Vitality, you can earn activity points for getting active.
Every month, those points will earn you a contribution from Vitality towards that month's instalment payment needed to pay off the loan from Novuna Personal Finance.
The more active you are every month, the greater the contribution Vitality will make. If you earn the maximum of 160 activity points in a month, Vitality will pay all of that month's instalment.
If your plan renews mid-month this will not interrupt your monthly activity points being tracked, and will not impact your Apple Watch Contribution.

Tracking contributions
You’ll be able to track the amount we will contribute to your payment on the Member Zone, or by using the Vitality UK app.
You can keep track of the points earned towards this benefit for the month by clicking on the ‘Rewards Tab’ within the Vitality UK app.
Monthly payments for Apple Watch with Vitality are dependent on how many Vitality activity points you earn two months prior. You start with a “payment holiday” from the date you purchased your Apple Watch until the end of one full calendar month.
In the second calendar month, you’ll start earning Vitality activity points towards your first payment.
The date of your first direct debit payment will be based on the date you signed the loan agreement. This will be confirmed to you and managed by Novuna.
You will be able to change your direct debit payment date to suit your needs once the first payment has been made.
Here's an example:
15th April - purchase your Apple Watch
Rest of April plus May - payment holiday
June - first month earning Vitality activity points
15th August - first direct debit payment

Your credit agreement with Novuna Personal Finance
You'll need to pass a credit check and agree to a 40-month, 0% APR consumer credit agreement with 36 monthly Direct Debits through Novuna Personal Finance, (a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC) as part of purchasing an Apple Watch through Vitality. Checking your eligibility will place a soft search which is not visible to other lenders.
You can view your account balance and payments to date by visiting the Novuna website or app.
You can pay your loan amount with etika Finance UK Ltd or Novuna early. However, that will cancel your direct debit and you won't be eligible for any more Vitality contributions.
You also won’t be able to buy another Apple Watch through Vitality until the last planned payment date for the original Apple Watch.
If you cancel your plan or leave your company scheme, your credit loan agreement for your Apple Watch will continue with etika Finance UK Ltd or Novuna Personal Finance and you won't be eligible for any more Vitality contributions.
In that scenario, your monthly direct debit payments will be the maximum amount per month for the remaining period of your credit loan agreement.
You will only be able to cancel your Direct Debit if you pay off your loan in full.
