Mental health - Support tools and treatment

We understand that mental health is as important as physical health. That's why we've given all members on Personal Healthcare, Business Healthcare and Corporate Health plans* access to a range of mental health support.

Self-care apps and online tools

Self-care and lifestyle changes can help to manage the symptoms of many mental health issues. You'll have access to apps, courses and support communities to help you manage your mental health. These can be accessed straight away and are available 24/7. You also won't need to pay any excess to use them. Find more information on the Mental health tools and peer support page.

Talking therapies

This can be delivered through digital self-guided programmes, coached programmes, and one-to-one sessions. Talking therapies start with an initial assessment with a clinician who will identify the best treatment for you. The Talking therapies page has everything you need to get started.

See a psychiatrist with a referral

If your GP or therapist has referred you to see a psychiatrist, you will be able to claim for this if its covered by your plan. To learn more about the mental health cover included in your plan, check your plan details.

*These services are not available to members on Vitality at Work Enterprise or Vitality Essentials members. Members on Vitality at Work Business have access to Talking Therapies.
