How do I claim for private prescriptions and minor diagnostic tests?

With the Primary Care benefit, you can get reimbursed for the costs of minor diagnostic tests referred by a private Face-to-Face GP within our network, as well as private prescriptions prescribed by either a Vitality GP or the Face-to-Face GP.

You can claim up to £100 per person per plan year, and there's no excess to pay when you claim from this benefit.

Following your consultation, a Vitality GP or a private Face-to-Face GP within our network can issue a wide range of private prescriptions. If the Vitality GP has given you a prescription, you'll be sent an email and text from one of our Vitality GP pharmacy partners, which includes your prescription code. You'll then have the option to have the medication delivered to your address or you can collect the medication from your preferred pharmacy using this code.

You'll need to pay upfront for prescriptions prescribed by a Vitality GP, as well as for any minor diagnostic tests or prescriptions prescribed by a private Face-to-Face GP within our network.
