Before you sign up

To receive the cashback benefit you’ll need to sign up for a myWaitrose account and let us know your myWaitrose membership number. This is so we can link it to your Vitality account.

To sign up for a myWaitrose account, go to the Waitrose & Partners website and register.

Go to the Vitality Member app and create your Health Profile to unlock your rewards for the rest of your plan year.

Adding bank details to Member Zone

In order for Vitality to reward you with cashback, the principal member will need to add bank details to their Member Zone. To do this in Member Zone:

  • Click the Account icon

  • Click My account from the drop-down list

  • Click Update bank details

  • Update the required fields

  • Click Save

These bank details are solely for us to pay cashback and will not affect how your premiums are paid.

Linking the accounts

To link your myWaitrose account with your Vitality account, go to your Member Zone:

  • Click Get rewarded

  • Click on the Waitrose & Partners tile

  • Click Sign up

  • Click Check bank details to make sure the bank details are correct

  • Tick I consent to Vitality using these bank details for cashback payments if you are happy with those details

  • Click Yes if you have a myWaitrose card

  • Enter the myWaitrose card number

  • Tick I am the account holder of this card, then click Next

  • Check the surname is correct and click Next

  • Click Confirm

  • Select Yes, all statements are correct

  • Tick I have read and accept the terms and conditions once you have read them

  • Tick I consent to Waitrose & Partners sharing my personal data and purchase history with Vitality if you are happy with this

  • Click Submit

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing issues linking your myWaitrose account in Member Zone, or you cannot see the benefit tile, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure you are eligible for the benefit.

  2. Make sure no other member over the age of 18 on the same plan has linked to the benefit. Only one adult member on a plan can have a linked myWaitrose account.

  3. Make sure the details on the myWaitrose account match the details on your plan. This includes your surname and postal address.

  4. If you are a John Lewis Partnership Card user, your myWaitrose account must have been active for at least one week and must have been used at least once.
