How do I collect my private prescription from the Vitality GP?

Following your consultation, the Vitality GP can issue a wide range of private prescriptions.

You'll be sent an email which includes a prescription code and QR code. Emails will be sent from vitality.admin@ad.livi.co.uk and the title will state VitalityGP. It will be sent to the email address you provided during the booking process.

To collect your prescription, show this email to your pharmacist.

You will need to pay for these prescriptions upfront. However, you may be able to claim back the cost through any remaining Primary Care benefit included in your plan, up to £100.

How do I claim back the cost of a private prescription?

The Primary Care benefit can allow for reimbursement of the cost of private prescriptions provided, following a consultation with the Vitality GP or Face-to-Face GP.

The benefit limit is £100.00 per person per plan year.

To be reimbursed, please follow these steps:

  1. Pay for the medication yourself and make sure you get an itemised receipt.

  2. Email a copy of your receipt, along with your plan number, to VitalityGP@vitality.co.uk.

  3. Clearly state in this email that you’d like to be reimbursed from your Primary Care benefit.

If your reimbursement is approved, we’ll refund you from your available balance within 10 working days.

We’ll send a message to your secure inbox on the Member Zone to let you know when your refund has been made.
