The Virgin Active gym benefit
Eligible Vitality members can receive up to 50% off a monthly Virgin Active gym membership. The Vitality discount applies to the rolling monthly contract.
A joining fee will normally apply. The joining fee varies depending on the location.
If you’re already a member at one of Virgin Active’s clubs, you can switch your membership over to get the Vitality discount. A transfer fee will apply.
You'll need to transfer your gym membership by the 17th of any month. Your new Vitality discounted membership will apply from the following month.
You might also be able to use your gym discount at any other Virgin Active club within the same tier. You can understand which clubs you’d have access to in Virgin Active’s club access guide.
You’ll need to give a full calendar month's notice if you want to cancel your existing membership. Please contact the gym directly to do this.
Earn Vitality activity points
Members earn five Vitality activity points each time they attend a Virgin Active gym.
You can earn gym attendance points with your daily steps to earn the maximum eight Vitality activity points per day.
Here's an example to show how this works:
A Vitality member walks 7000 steps in the morning, they earn three points for their steps
On the same day they visit a Virgin Active gym, they earn five points for their gym visit
Steps and gym earn eight points in total for the day's activities
