How does the American Express® benefit work?
If you are eligible, you can take out the Vitality American Express® Credit Card to earn boosted cashback by tracking your activity. This benefit applies to one Vitality American Express® Credit Card per eligible plan. If you are not an eligible member, you will not see the American Express® partner available on your Member Zone account.
Spending on the card will earn you cashback of up to 1% of your spend. Being active will earn you a Vitality healthy cashback booster up to another 1% of your spend. The more active you are, the more healthy cashback booster you could earn. If you're a Vitality Pink member, we boost your healthy cashback booster rate to up to 2%.

How do I earn Vitality Healthy Cashback Booster?
To earn a Vitality healthy cashback booster:
Register on the Vitality UK app
Create your Health Profile
Link a compatible device to Vitality to start earning activity points
Apply for the Vitality American Express® Credit Card and get active
As you spend money with the Vitality American Express® card, you earn up to 1% cashback. If you track your activity through a Vitality compatible device, you can earn up to 1% cashback as well. This means your card rate cashback could be up to 2%.
Each month’s healthy cashback booster rate is based on the activity points earned two months prior. So you won’t earn a healthy cashback booster until the start of the third calendar month after you activate the benefit with Vitality.
You can earn a healthy cashback booster on the first £1,000 of purchases each month. You’ll earn no cashback booster on purchases under £4, when your rate is 0.25%.
Get up to 1% cashback on purchases
American Express® will also pay cashback on every full £1 spend on purchases. They will pay your cashback on your card anniversary. This is the month after your previous 12 months' purchases. You need to spend a minimum of £3,000 within the card membership year.

Eligibility
You must have at least one of the following Vitality insurance plans to apply for the Vitality American Express® Credit Card:
A Personal health insurance plan, excluding Vitality Health Lite plans.
Business health insurance plan, excluding Vitality Essentials and Vitality at Work plans.
Corporate Healthcare plan or Healthcare Trust with Vitality Plus.
Life insurance plan with Vitality Plus. In addition, the total premiums of all life plans on which you are a member must be at least £45 per month, excluding any fee paid for Vitality Plus.
