Why has the Health Review changed to the Health Profile?

At Vitality, we're always trying to make your experience better and more relevant, and the new Health Profile is part of this. We regularly update our data and calculations to include the latest advancements in medical and social sciences.

The new streamlined set of questions make it simpler and easier for you to complete. There are fewer questions to answer, too - it takes just a few minutes. That’s because we will use insights from your Vitality Healthcheck to prepopulate parts of your Health Profile.

By bringing all the information together in one place, you will be able to get a clearer picture of your overall health. It will also make understanding how you can get healthier easier.

You get 100 points when you create your Health Profile. You also get 100 points for updating your Health Profile every plan year after that. However, you won't earn any extra points for updating your profile more than once in a 12-month period.

Why can't I create my Health Profile on Member Zone?

We're always looking for ways to make it easier for you to get the most out of your plan and rewards. So, to give you a better digital experience, we’re bringing more of the Vitality Programme into the Vitality Member app.

Through the app, you can create your Health Profile and get your Vitality Age; track your steps; view your Vitality points statement, and redeem your rewards.

This makes it easier for you to get healthier and be rewarded on the go. It also minimises the need for you to switch between the app and webpages.

Are the questions still clinically valid?

They most definitely are. They’ve been developed by a multi-disciplinary team of clinical, behavioural, and data-science experts. They focus on the clinically relevant risks most likely to affect health and longevity outcomes.

They’re also based on the Global Burden of Disease Study. This ensures we can provide you with actionable health insights that are clinically sound.

Why is my Vitality Age different?

We sometimes update the data and calculations we use.

This includes incorporating the latest advancements in medical and social sciences. The Health Profile also uses the latest data from the Global Burden of Disease Study.

Therefore, as part of the changes, you may receive a slightly different Vitality Age to your current one.
